GOSH Italian Hospital: Decorating Works for a brand new Sight and Sound Centre

The Project:

The Sentinel team were invited by Kier to undertake decorating works at the new £25m Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) centre for children with hearing and sight loss. The project comprises of decoration of the new Sight and Sound Centre (the first dedicated medical facility for children with sight and hearing loss in the UK).
GOSH has been constantly evolving since it opened in an 18th century townhouse in 1852. The Sentinel team are proud to have been part of its redevelopment over recent years. Helping to upgrade the estate meaning that children and their families can be cared for in a safer and more comfortable environment.

The Results:
As part of the development, Sentinel Contracting completed the internal decorations at the Italian Hospital at the corner of Queen Square and Boswell Street. Our works took place within the grade II listed GOSH building, and included decoration of specialist facilities for outpatients, state-of-the-art soundproofed booths for hearing tests, an eye imaging suite and a dispensing optician. The specialist facilities for outpatients will be used by Audiology, Cochlear Implant, Ophthalmology, Ear Nose and Throat and Speech and Language Therapy teams.
