Headed up since 2012 by industry leading practitioner Arthur Nelmes, the division has been instrumental in improving the standard of fire protection design & installation across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East, benefiting construction industry partners and the clients they serve.
‘The building is fire safe from cradle to grave’. At Sentinel this means we provide an accurate, cost effective method for recording design, supply and installation works. This includes Unique Identification Numbers, making pinpointing fire stopping seals through the fire compartment walls and floors of the building straightforward and easily traced by the client, landlord or building manager.
Sentinel has successfully delivered multimillion-pound commercial decorating projects for many of the UK’s leading construction companies and achieved preferred status with Tier 1 main contractors.

One of the most effective forms of passive fire protection is Intumescent Paint. This specialised coating expands when exposed to heat, forming a thick, insulating layer that shields structural elements from the intense heat of a fire.
