The Charter School

We had the opportunity to deliver both Firestopping and Commercial Decorating works at the Charter School Bermondsey. This was a new, state-of-the-art facility for 600 pupils on a historic site in the south-east of the capital.

nhow Hotel

Appointed by Willmott Dixon Interiors, we completed decorating works at this nine-storey project on the eastern edge of the City of London. It was a pleasure to be involved in the creation of artwork that celebrated the history and culture of the capital.

St Barbara’s Church

St Barbara’s stands on the site of the former Deepcut barracks. It’s a Grade II Listed building, which added to the challenge of restoring it and demonstrating our commercial decorating expertise.

Royal Military Academy Sandhurst

Sentinel worked on a £12 million project to create a new facility for the British Army Band Sandhurst, a group of 43 musicians that performs at ceremonies there and elsewhere.

Kensington Palace

Our experience of prestigious projects stood us in good stead when we were asked to carry out commercial decorating and passive fire protection work at the renovated Kensington Palace in west London.

Ropemaker Street

This was a high-profile project in more ways than one, as a new 27-storey commercial building was developed close to Moorgate Station, in the City of London.

Wimbledon Quarter

Romulus, the developer behind the transformation of Wimbledon Quarter, had to replace all the existing fire protection systems. Our solution not only retained the old provision but it upgraded its effectiveness to comply with today’s standards.

Maggie’s Royal Free

Sentinel delivered commercial decorating services in all areas of the new Maggie’s Centre at the Royal Free Hospital in Belsize Park, which was opened by Queen Camilla in January 2024.

The Whittington Building

Producing a high-spec decorative finish on a coating of intumescent paint can be extremely challenging. Sentinel rose to such a challenge successfully in our work on the new Whittington Building, in one of the most historic corners of the City of London.

YY London

It is always a pleasure to work on a flagship project in the heart of London where sustainability is a key objective. For YY London, our aim was to create a net-zero carbon, all-electric building.

The Whiteley

By tracking down the very last batch of a particular type of fire protection boarding – which is no longer in production – Sentinel managed to save our client, British Land, thousands of pounds.

K1 Knightsbridge

Sentinel had to use all its innovative flair, experience and expertise to deliver firestopping and decorating services on the prestigious K1 Knightsbridge development in one of London’s most salubrious districts.

Sentinel was commissioned to deliver passive fire stopping and decorating services as part of the £1billion development of the AstraZeneca Discovery Centre (DISC) in Cambridge.

GOSH Italian Hospital: Decorating Works for a brand new Sight and Sound Centre

The project comprised of decoration of the new Great Ormond Street Hospital Sight and Sound Centre, the first dedicated medical facility for children with sight and hearing loss in the UK.

Battersea Power Station: Nullifire soffit installation

The Sentinel Contracting team was invited by Nullifire to undertake installation of its Soffit System within Battersea Power Station to install hi-impact soffit board in multiple areas.
